New Highlighted Features and Enhancements

  • NEW - The remaining tabs on the property view page have been redesigned to enhance both the user and mobile experience with increased functionality

  • NEW - Redesigned Customizable Dashboards

    • We have overhauled our dashboards to enhance user experience, now featuring advanced filtering and sorting capabilities for personalized data presentation.

    • The update includes a wide array of new widget types to choose from, such as Units by Month, Unit Statistics, Rent Statistics, Payment List (Money In), Application List, Application Group, Applications by Month, Lease List, Lease Balance Statistics, Lease Group, Leases by Month, Work Order List, Work Order Group, Work Orders by Month, Work Order Statistics and Vendor List

    • Alongside the main dashboard, new dashboards for Applications, Leases, and Maintenance have now been introduced

  • NEW - Added an Initial Late Fee Minimum to late fee settings / profiles

    • Allows property managers to establish a minimum amount for the initial late fee. If the calculated initial late fee falls below this minimum, the set minimum amount will be applied as the initial late fee charged.

  • NEW - Introduced a requirement for two-factor authentication for all user accounts on Rentvine during the sign-in process

General

  • Pages below have been restructured to enhance both user experience and mobile accessibility

    • Lease detail view page header section, notes, alerts and letters

    • Portfolio detail view page header section, notes, alerts and letters

  • Added additional mime types for HEIC and HEIF files to handle additional HEIC images

  • Introduced the option to change the email or phone number used for two-factor authentication on the My Profile page.

  • Enhanced the new user registration page to verify email used when registering

  • Added ability to add or modify payment method used for Rentvine invoices on the Billing page

Screening and Applications

  • Enhanced error messages in the income verification section of the applicant view page for instances where an income verification report failed to generate

  • Removed and renamed filter options on the Screening / Payments list view pages

Leases

  • NEW - Added an Initial Late Fee Minimum to late fee settings / profiles

    • Allows property managers to establish a minimum amount for the initial late fee. If the calculated initial late fee falls below this minimum, the set minimum amount will be applied as the initial late fee charged.

Accounting

  • When a NACHA file is downloaded from the payment batch page, a log is created on the timeline to record the download event.

  • Updated 1099 reporting to support 2023 tax year

  • Added Property Manager phone number to payer section of 1099 copies and laser form

  • Added logic to allow hyphen in the postal code field when building the 1099 copies or laser form

  • Updated payment batch printed PDF to include check # column.  Also updated the totals in the header section to include “other payments”

  • Changes to the bank account number are now recorded in the audit log (chart of account timeline)

  • Added a files tab to the journal entry view page

Communications

  • Added ability to filter vendor mass message list by Vendor Type and Maintenance Category

  • Owner and Vendors are now notified by email when 1099’s are published to their portal

  • Mass texts and emails now utilize the primary email address and phone number associated with a contact

  • Implemented a feature to display names alongside phone numbers in the text message composer selection menu

  • Added three new notification types

    • Payment Information Modified - notifies when payment information of an owner, vendor, or HOA is modified

    • Payout Batch Approved - notifies when a payment batch is approved.  The notification shows the amount approved

    • Two Factor Disabled for Payment Approval - notifies when Two Factor has been disabled for payout approval in accounting settings

Contact

  • Address 2 of a property now shows on the HOA properties tab view page

Reports

  • Added two new reports

    • Income Statement Detail

    • Income Statement Detail (per property)

  • Added a new date comparator to many reports - On or Before Today - Allows you to save a report using this new date comparator.  The saved report will then use the current date as (Today) next time it is created

  • Added additional date comparators for custom field date types

  • Unit Report

    • Added appliances as a filter and column option

  • Lease Payment Report

    • Added Is Unit Active as a filter and column option

  • Owner Report

    • Added Associated to an active portfolio as a filter and column option

  • Rent Roll Report

    • Added Property Contract Start Date and Property Contract End Date as a filter and column option

    • Added Last Rent Increase Date as filter and column option

  • Work Order Report

    • Added ability to sort by Days Open column

  • Settlements Report

    • Settlement amount is now clickable to navigate to the settlement page

  • Payables Report

    • Added Due Date as a filter and column option

  • Owner Unit Report

    • Added Property Group as a filter and column option

  • Lease Balances Report

    • Added DOB as a filter and column option

  • Lease Tenants Report

    • Added DOB, Past Due Rent and Total Due Rent as filter and column options

  • Lease Report

    • Added License Plate Number as a filter and column option

Fixes

  • Fixed issue where vendor rejection of a work order was causing a new unassigned work order email notification

  • Fixed issue where message for the addenda section of the application was not visible

  • Allowed more characters to be added within the section messages of an application

  • Fixed an issue where exporting a GL report with more than 5 accounts being filtered would fail

  • Fixed an issue on the global search where leases under tenant contact would show even if the tenant was removed from the lease

  • Fixed issue on Screening/Payments/Return page where searching by Credit Card Name would not work

  • Fixed “send email toggle” resetting after switching it on on the change status modal on the application page

  • Fixed an issue where some income verification images were broken

  • Fixed multiple React ErrorBoundary Errors

  • Fixed a landlord verification print error

  • Fixed an issue where specific checks would not print due to special characters in the memo field

  • Fixed an issue on work order report where work order status filter was not rendering the correct values

  • Fixed issue where deleting a file associated to an applicant was also deleting the file on the associated lease

  • Fixed issue where the override name of a vendor was showing on the bill list view page of the owner portal

  • Fixed vendor ledger report not running

  • Fixed an issue where the budget report was not showing values

  • Fixed the ability to upload additional JPG type files

  • Fixed an issue where modifying maintenance notes was causing the sq ft field of a property to be removed

  • Resolved an issue where vendors were not receiving notifications when a file was shared with them. This fix also addresses the issue of property/unit files shared with tenants

  • Resolved a problem that prevented the deletion of renters insurance documents from a lease

  • Corrected a problem where the edit modal for marketing restrictions was not displaying the entered values in the fields

  • Fixed properties filter issue on the vendor ledger report

  • Fixed an issue on lease page where it was not rendering on mobile view

  • Fixed count issue on multi unit property bills tab

  • Fixed issue where ID and Income verification documents section were not showing on an application when they were active on the template

  • Resolved a problem where the upload button on the marketing documents card in the marketing tab of a property was not functioning.

  • Fixed an issue where property insurance information ws showing the values on the wrong fields

  • Fixed a portfolio filter issue with the unit management fees report

  • Fixed issue where the 1099 exported Excel report had the taxable amount and reported amount swapped

  • Fixed issue with the ability to view unpaid charges on the Record Tenant Payment page

  • Fixed issue where the Listing report had duplicate lines

  • Fixed issue where setting the Sales Tax setting on a property was failing

  • Fixed issue where the management fee setting on a property was not updating when modifying it

  • Fixed issue where the create craigslist ad was not functioning

  • Fixed an issue with the lease search dropdown in the header section

  • Fixed an issue where the Cash Flow Annual (per property) and the Income Statement Annual (per property) that were attached to owner statements was showing an extra month

  • Fixed issue where the animal gender hotfield in Rentsign was not rendering the correct value
